It's time to stand firm in who I created you to be

Today's Holy Spirit Love Note:

Don’t give in or give up just because the journey feels longer or more complicated than you thought it would. I have not changed my promises to you and if I said it, it will be so. Yes, I’ve called you to do this and, with me, in me, you can do all things. Not every thing, but all the things I’ve called you to. The difference is subtle but important.

Stop chasing everything and instead, ask me for all the things that make up my best for you. Ask me about the gifts I deposited inside of you as I dreamed you into existence with all of creation. Allow me to breath new life into who you are, the way you show up in the world. 

This is not a time for hiding or shrinking back. This is about standing firm in who you are, who I created you to be, and doing so with the confidence that comes from who you are in me. If you really understood just how powerful you are by virtue of your position as my child, you’d never second guess yourself ever again!

But I don’t condemn you when you feel uncertain. Condemnation is a trick of the enemy, never of me. Uncertainty too comes as a result of living in a world that is not yet fully embracing my best. You can embrace my best simply by choosing to believe who I called you to be and taking every promise as done from my perspective.

Done and in need of moving from heaven to earth. You being you with me has a part to play in that. Let me show you what that looks like moment by moment, day by day. It doesn’t need to be complicated. You simply need to take me at my word and walk out each promise with me.
