Jesus changes everything!
Today's Holy Spirit Love Note:
You really don’t need to try so hard. I want to do life with you. I yearn to be an active part of your day to day reality. I love to love you and when you seek me with all your heart, you will find me. There are no hoops to jump through. I am with you and in you, always.
You wonder what seeking me with all your heart looks like because the thought of doing so sends you back into striving mode? You wonder what it might look like to try really hard to seek me?
Seeking me with all your heart is simply about being whole-hearted, not divided. And yes, you can love me and love your friends and family. Your love for one child doesn’t diminish when you have a second or third child. Love grows the more it is expressed and lived out.
Remember, I love you, wholeheartedly so, and I love the people you love - and the people you’re less keen on! Loving me with all your heart is not about loving me to the exclusion of others.
It’s about letting me in to all of your heart, all of the things that trouble you and all of the things that make you dance with joy. To love me with a whole heart is to love me in the midst of day to day life and to bring all things to me.
If it’s on your heart, it’s on my heart and I’ve already prepared creative solutions to all of the things that trouble you. To seek me with all your heart is to allow me to share those solutions with you. It really is as simple as that.
And you’re right, it wasn’t always that simple but you have the privilege of living life through the lens of Jesus and Jesus changes everything!
