Let go and let God
Today's Holy Spirit Love Note:
Let go of control. You can’t control every person or situation and you’re not meant to. Instead, flow with me and trust that I’ve got it covered. It? Life! I know what I’m doing and I don’t need you to play god with the people around you.
The only person you can ever hope to control is you and even then, you can only control you with my help. Self control is fruit that comes from doing life with me, being led by me, walking life out together, remember?
Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness goodness, gentleness, faithfullness and self-control. The more you do life in step with me, the more you can expect to see this fruit in your life. Need more love? Walk with me more. Desperate for more joy? Take your next step with me. Want more peace? Let me lead you. (I could go on but you get the idea!)
Let go and let me be God. Plan yes, but with me. Take action as I nudge you, but hear me as you move. And hold those plans loosely. Don’t quench my flow in your life. Don’t squeeze my life out of what we’re doing together by trying to control all the pieces.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again … surrender control! You cannot control everything and you were never meant to!
I know this feels counterintuitive. It’s the opposite of what you were taught but your learning was based on the world’s systems. I’m inviting you to learn and move and grow in my Kingdom principles. You can expect things to look a little different to what you once considered “normal” but different in the very best way possible!
Let go and let me be God. Ask me to show you what that looks like in practical terms in your life today. Ask, expecting an answer, and know that I’m excited to show up in your life today!
