Everything is more fun when we explore together

Today’s Holy Spirit Love Note:

It’s time to take an honest assessment of your life, all areas of your life. Specifically, I would love us to explore your life together so we can root out any area where you’ve been trying to handle things by yourself. I know you don’t think that you do this, it happens little by little and very subtly, but that’s why we need to take time today to explore all things together.

You think that you do all of life with me when the reality is that you do lots of life with me. I’m always with you of course so in that respect, you’re doing all of life with me, but that’s not the same as intentionally doing life together.

When we intentionally do all of life together, wonderful things happen. No, this isn’t slot machine faith where you put in certain actions and I deliver happy endings and a stress free life. You will still have problems in this world when we intentionally do all of life together but we’ll navigate those problems together and that makes all the difference in the world.

Yes, I created you with an incredible mind and that makes it possible for you to ponder and noodle on things but what if the real invitation is to noodle together? Your amazing mind is my playground! Why would you make certain areas of the playground off-limits to me?

Everything in the playground is more fun when we explore together. Everything, without exception. There isn’t a single area that would benefit from you going solo so why would you even want to try?

You think you don’t have time today to play with me but what if you don’t have time not to play with me? What if playing with me, allowing us to explore all things together, is the most productive, beneficial thing you can be doing in this moment? What if?
