With me, no matter what

Today's Holy Spirit Love Note:

There is a grace on those seasons when you feel like everything’s coming at you. They might catch you off guard but those occasions don’t catch me by surprise. I plan for them and can work with them. One thing at a time, with me, that’s the only way to navigate each moment.

And remember to be kind to yourself. I know you have dreams and ambitions. I put those within your heart and we can and will get to them, but not at any cost.

Flow with me, follow the nudges, and refuse to worry about tomorrow. Yes, we can plan ahead together but planning ahead is not the same as worrying. There is so much joy to be had in this moment with me, even when life feels busy. The secret is to let me in to the busy.

And when you’re feeling strained or even totally frazzled, let me help you find the peace to be had in the very next moment. It might not look “conventional” because in some seasons we need to be creative but I can bring you peace.

Reject any lie that pushes you to try harder or do more. Trust that I know exactly what I’m doing and I am working in this moment with you. If I am for you, who can possibly be against you? No one!

Did you ever see Jesus running to his next appointment? He had many demands made of him and he took time away with me. What if the invitation to “fix your eyes on Jesus” was as much about navigating life, learning to set boundaries, as it is character development?

Understand that setting boundaries is not about being aloof or obnoxious. It’s about recognising from Whom you get your power, your Source, and guarding that at all costs. With me, no matter what.
