There is no fear in love

Today's Holy Spirit Love Note:

There’s no pressure to hear my heart. You don’t need to jump through hoops or whisper a series of incantations to hear my voice. Any word that tells you that it is difficult to do life with me is simply another lie, either from the enemy or via your own doubts and insecurities.

Here’s my truth … I am always showering you with my love. There is nowhere you can go that will leave you out of my reach. And yes, there might have been times when you wished I’d turn my head away and not look but that’s simply not possible.

But, you don’t need to be intimidated by my ever-presentness. My presence is a gift, not a threat. You don’t need to “wait until your Dad gets home” because I’m always with you and I knew the mess even before it was conceived.

I knew and know everything about you, and I called you by name. Those things you give yourself a hard time for or wish weren’t a part of your reality? Give them to me. You don’t need to wear guilt like a badge of honour. You are a new creation and yes, there will always be learning and growing and edges to smooth, but I don’t condemn you. I love you and when you explore life with me, anything that is brought into the light is done for your absolute best.

Those things then that I’m nudging you to explore? Explore them with me, safe in the certainty that you are loved, wholly and completely. You don’t need to be afraid of the answer when you bring me your questions. I’m not out to get you or trying to trip you up. I am love and there is no fear in love. In fact, perfect love casts out all fear, so let me love you and watch the fear melt away.
