What if there's a blessing in the different?

Today's Holy Spirit Love Note:

Different doesn’t have to be a bad thing. Your day might have unfolded differently to what you expected but what if there’s a blessing in the different? What if the different leads others closer to me? What if the different is my best?

It’s time to shift your expectations. Hold them loosely and allow me to move in and through and with you as your navigate your day. Yes, take a deep breath and smile. I know what I’m doing and I know what you need. I won’t let you down, ever.

What if the “conventional wisdom” you grew up with was not my way for you? Your mind is brilliant yes, and there are things you can learn from others but when your attempts to do life the way “conventional wisdom” dictates causes you stress or frustration, it’s time to think again.

Think again, renew your mind, take every thought captive and make it obedient to Jesus. This is an ongoing conversation with me not a one time deal. And some days it’ll feel easier than others. No matter how you feel, I’m always right there with you. No matter how you feel, you are never alone. No matter how you feel, it’s never you against the world.

Just because things are different to what you anticipated does not mean you’re moving outside of my best for you. And just because you planned a to-do list as long as your arm and didn’t get to even half of it does not mean you are lazy!

Why do you want to run so fast? Yes, there is a plan and a purpose for your life but when you move with me, do life with me, you don’t ever need to worry about missing it or running out of time. There is beauty in this moment. Enjoy this moment, with me.
