When have I ever let you down?

Today's Holy Spirit Love Note:

When have I ever let you down? I know things often feel like they don’t unfold the way you imagined they would or should but don’t let that discourage you. If you could see the way all the pieces fit together, how what feels like waiting to you is actually part of a more wonderful whole, you’d happily embrace the delay.

What if you embraced all of this journey with me, regardless of the view? Because I have never let you down and I will never let you down. I’m not promising that you’ll always understand what’s happening but you can be certain that through every moment of life, I am with you.

And I’m not just with you in a passive way. I am active in your life, moving and working and pondering much concerning you, every moment of every day.

If anyone could be accused of being passive, it’s you. You sometimes let life happen to you but I’m inviting you to be very deliberate, very intentional, as you move through the day with me. Even the days that look “ordinary” on paper are an opportunity to step into a great big adventure with me!

It’s time to embrace this moment from the perspective of eternity. There really is more at play here than what you currently see, know and understand. Some of the actions we take together, many of the actions we take together, reverberate into the life to come in ways you can’t even begin to imagine!

So yes, sometimes things are frustrating to you and no, they’re not going to be like that for always. You can trust my promises, they are “yes” and “amen” and your evidence of that is Jesus. And, this is your invitation to explore those promises with me from the perspective of all of eternity.

Ask me to show you a piece of the puzzle. Ask, expecting an answer, and allow me to share my heart with you, my heart for all of humanity, as it pertains to every promise you have from me.
