Fix your eyes on Jesus

Today's Holy Spirit Love Note:

Keep hearing me, I want to help you. There’s more at stake here than you really know, see or understand. And I don’t mean that in a dramatic way, it’s not a threat, but you don’t appreciate the war that is raging all around you. Paul said it. The battle really isn’t against flesh and blood.  The battle is against the principalities and powers of darkness.

Fix your eyes on Jesus! You don’t need to worry or be anxious about anything, the battle is already won. It is finished! There’s a difference between recognising there is a battle - albeit one already won - and burying your head in the sand. Don’t be nervous, don’t be deceived. Fix your eyes on Jesus!

Jesus really is the answer to everything. He is the exact representation of my being. He is your certainty when you feel uncertain. He is your big brother to look up to when you’re not sure how to move. He is everything!

At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow. He is my crowning glory, the apple of my eye, and your very best friend. See Jesus alongside you as you face challenges today. When you’re celebrating, know that he celebrates with you. The more you can live today in the reality of Jesus, the easier the battle will be.

That’s what it really means to fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. He faced a very real, tangible choice and he chose to walk the path we planned way back in eternity past. He chose to because He loves me and he loves you.

Let me help you fix your eyes on Jesus then so you won’t lose heart and give up. There is so much at stake here, you cannot give up. Moment by moment, that’s how we move. Always me helping you. You don’t have to play on your own!
