I'm right there holding your hand

Today’s Holy Spirit Love Note:

I wish you really knew just how much I love you. You hear a reminder about how much I ache to spend time with you and instead of falling into my arms, you slip into planning mode. You look at your calendar and consider how to fit everything in.

How many times do I need to remind you that there are no hoops to jump through when it comes to us doing life together? There’s no pattern to follow, no method to get right, no “three step plan” to learn. I simply love doing life with you because I love you. It really is as simple and as basic as that.

I smile when you open your eyes each morning. I get excited as you share your heart. I am for you, cheering you on, whispering suggestions, and I love it when you hear me and action my whispers.

Yes, there are things I long to teach you because you are a vital part of my story and I want to help you enjoy our adventure. I want to help you be more effective – but not at the expense of us. Relationship is fundamental to who I am, it’s what I’m about, and I am very protective of what we have.

Everything we do together comes back to relationship and if there’s ever a time that that doesn’t feel true, ask me to help you. Ask me to show you what’s on my heart as we learn and grow together. Ask me why I led you in the direction I did. Ask me to show you the why behind what we’re doing.

Every moment is an opportunity for us to grow deeper together and that starts with you knowing deep in your core that you are loved- wholly and completely. Move forward today safe in the certainty of your position as my beloved and you won’t go far wrong. Why? Because I’m right there with you holding your hand and I am never letting go!
