Pause with me in this moment

Today’s Holy Spirit Love Note:

You understand that I hear your heart, right? So those times when you’re feeling overwhelmed, even simply overwhelmed by me and everything I’m inviting you to explore, what if you allowed me to reach out and touch you? What if you could feel me stroking your cheek? No, I don’t have hands, I am Spirit, but you don’t need to put limitations on me. I really can be everything to you, in the very best way possible.

And not to the exclusion of the people you love. I adore them too! I treasure them, think about them, sing about them, even more than you do. I am wooing them with my love, even as I am wooing you.

Pause with me in this moment.

And yes, of course I have more to say and those words are important but not to the exclusion of this moment. This moment is all there is. You can have plans and projects and I’m not asking you to abandon them, these are things I’m excited about exploring with you – but not to the exclusion of this moment.

Not at any cost, remember? There are some things more important, more precious to me, than you checking off and completing the pieces I’m nudging you about. And that’s what this pause, this moment, is really about.

It’s time to get comfortable with me when you’re doing nothing for me. I don’t love you for what you can do. I don’t love you for anything. I simply love you because I love you because I love you.

So pause with me in this moment. Allow the reality of my love to wash over you in a fresh new way. Allow me to open all your senses to receive my love in a way that you never have before.
