Promises a day away?

Today's Holy Spirit Love Note:

It’s time to be really deliberate about how you show up. Your words are powerful and you need to use them wisely. I know that doesn’t always come easily to you but as you step into the next adventure with me, the more intentional and aware you can be of your words, the more I can move.

There are so many great and wonderful days ahead, yes really, and the more you allow the power of words to flow, the easier it will be for you to see the wonder.

I know that many things look complicated from your perspective. You see deadlines looming. There is what feels to you like a huge chasm between where you stand today and the Promised Land of your tomorrows.

What if those promises were only a day away? I hear you. You’re remembering my words about a day being like a thousand years and you feel in danger of spiralling downwards. Stop! Don’t allow the enemy to use my words to plunge you into fear.

I won’t always deliver in the way or timing that you expect but you’re my child. I love you so much. I will not let you fall down and leave you floundering, unable to get back up. There is always a way back up and it comes with outstretched hands.

Did I just say that sometimes you’re going to fall? I did and you will but there is a huge difference between falling alone and falling with me.

You want me to tell you I won’t let you fall? Yes, you’ve heard this from me in the past because it was what you needed to hear in that season. But even then it was ultimately all about protection. It’s time to mature. The more we explore life together, the more I can show you the nuances, the specifics. One specific right now? I love you with an everlasting love and I am with you, always. That is my specific in this moment.
