The miracle is done!

Today's Holy Spirit Love Note:

I know you’re itching to get out there and do something tangible and impactful. If life were a football match, right now you feel like one of the players on the bench, sitting up straight and tall, willing the manager to see you and put you on the field.

Know this … I see you. I always see you. And you’re already on the field. You’re already doing tangible and impactful things. You are making a difference - you just can’t see how or where yet. It’s important that you don’t let your lack of sight stop you!

Remember the priests crossing the Jordan with Joshua. The water stopped flowing upstream as soon as their feet touched the water. There was no delay, they simply couldn’t yet see the miracle from where they were standing. If they’d refused to get their feet wet, there would have been no miracle!

The same is true for you and yours. The miracle has already happened, you simply can’t yet see it from your perspective. Don’t give up! Don’t give in! Don’t allow doubt and uncertainty to become your reality. Instead, fix your eyes on Jesus. Hold on to the pieces you do know and can see. Keep walking out the invitations and trust that I am moving. The miracle is done!

And yes, share your certainty and the reason for your hope with the people who ask you. Don’t be hesitant about giving an answer to anyone. You might feel foolish for a moment but you are no fool. Hold onto the promises I’ve given to you. Hold them loosely so as not to stifle my flow but hold onto them. Do not let go!

All of my promises are yes and amen! I have not changed my mind. You simply need to keep walking this out with me, one step at a time, one moment at a time, together.
