Today’s Holy Spirit Love Note:
Can you trust me? Can you trust that I know exactly what I’m doing? Can you trust that I love you and I’m moving and working in all things, even the painful pieces of life, for your good?
Trust is not a popular word. It won’t win you accolades or applause. Some people will call your trust foolish, others will call you names, but know that I see you and your trust and it is credited to you as righteousness.
You thought righteousness was about acting in a certain way or being the kind of person worthy of my love? What if you stopped trying to be worthy of my love and instead embraced the reality that you are already loved, completely and without exception? What would it feel like to live from that position every single day, regardless of what’s going on around you?
Yes, to do so we’re back to trust. Can you take me at my word and trust my love for you? Can you trust that my love is not dependant upon circumstances? Can you trust that you are cared for, even when you don’t see the reality of that care right in front of you?
I know I’m asking a lot of you but I also know that you are very capable, more capable than you currently realise, simply because of your proximity to me. You in me and me in you, remember? You can do everything I’m inviting you into when you do so through me. You never need to use will power ever again!
Keep moving forward with me, trusting in who I am and who I created you to be – and let that be enough in this moment. You are wonderfully made, truly incredible, by the One who is love. Let that be enough today.
