Today’s Holy Spirit Love Note:
What if everything you found challenging wasn’t for nothing? And I don’t just mean that when you face your challenges with me, it grows our relationship – although it does – but what if your challenges are not unique to you? And what if every time you face and overcome your challenges with me, it gives you keys to someone else’s victory?
I love you and I made you on purpose and for a purpose. There is nothing accidental about the pieces you’re struggling with today. I don’t delight in your challenges of course but I allow them because of who you are growing into as a result.
And this isn’t just about you. In your overcoming you really are helping to realise victory for other people. Sometimes this is going to be people you don’t even know. You won’t see and appreciate all of the ways you’re choosing to overcome with me today ripples into the future.
It’s so important that you don’t lose heart and allow yourself to feel defeated. You are in me and me in you. As such, you are never defeated. The battle has already been won! It might not always feel like the case but remember that your feelings are indications and signposts. They’re not the whole story.
You won’t be able to appreciate the whole story this side of the age to come but you are privy to pieces of the story. There are chapters we’re writing today that will ripple literally into eternity. You cannot and must not underestimate the power and beauty in this moment, this day, this choice you make to show up instead of giving up.
One foot in front of the other, with me. That’s how you navigate every day – but especially those moments in days that feel challenging. Keep moving forward. Don’t give up!
