Today’s Holy Spirit Love Note:
Don’t be discouraged. Don’t lose heart. Keep on keeping on. Reject the lie that the things you’re doing have no consequence. Everything makes a difference because you’re doing it with me. Everything is impactful because we’re in this together.
You don’t see all of the ways, all of the ripples, but just because you can’t see them doesn’t make them any less real. Let go of the need to know all things. If you keep striving to understand why and how all things are as they are, you will drive yourself crazy!
Instead, ask me what love looks like in this moment. Ask me how we’re moving together today – and share with me everything that’s on your heart. I know what you need, I know what troubles you and I can see the big picture, but I still love it when you share all things with me.
I am a good Dad. I’m not holding out on you. Ask for what you need. Tell me your heart’s desires and let’s move together in this moment to realise every single promise I’ve ever whispered to you. And trust that I know what I’m doing. You don’t need to hold on so tightly!
There are no keys to getting what you want from me. I’m not a slot machine or a genie. I’m your Dad, your greatest encourager and the one who put those desires and passions in your heart in the first place. The ache you feel to see change was birthed in my heart. You care because I care.
And I am moving. It is time to embrace the truths I am whispering to your heart. Embrace the truth and keep on keeping on. One foot in front of the other, together.
