What if you don’t need to remember everything in order to embrace my best? You love to take notes and highlight passages in books so you don’t miss anything but what if you trusted me to bring to your remembrance exactly what you need, exactly when you need it?
Sometimes the very best thing you can do is to simply pause in a moment and embrace the love you experienced. Togetherness as part of a team is not something you’re ever going to write down in your notebook after an event, for example, but it is exactly what you need.
Reminders of my love for you are not new teaching so you rarely find yourself noting that either but you always need my love. And opportunities to experience my heart in a new way as you worship cannot be easily articulated so those too will fail to make their way into your notes but the moment will live in your heart forever.
Journalling is wonderful, I love sharing my heart with you and I’m inviting you into new ways of doing life together. Don’t miss the invitation just because it looks different.
