Today’s Holy Spirit Love Note:
You are a new creation. As you walk in the reality of your new identity, there is nothing you need to be afraid of. Yes, the enemy would love to remind you of your past mistakes and failures, he’ll tell you you’re not ready – but you were born ready! I created you and equipped you for such a time as this.
Yes, there is a journey to travel and as you grow in me, you will feel more equipped, more prepared and ready but just because you feel more ready doesn’t change the truth of your identity. You are a new creation. The old has gone, the new is here.
Lift up your head, draw your shoulders back and stand tall. You are a new creation and your identity is as my child. I am the Creator, the one who spoke the stars into place, the King of kings, and I am your Dad.
Come to me with everything. Bring me all that is on your heart and mind. Yes, I will expect you to take action, co-labourers remember, I’m not your babysitter – but together. I will never leave you. I have never left you.
You think you’re too late, too old, too soon, too out of place, too much … Nonsense! You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You’re not “too” anything. Reject the limitations and instead embrace who I created you to be.
There is a gift behind every foible, a treasure in every eccentricity. You are a wonder and a delight and I would love to introduce you to the you I created you to be. Ask me to show you how I see you. Allow me to reveal the treasure that is you.
I say it yet again … you are not an accident. I’m not “making up the difference”. You are a new creation, there’s never been one like you before. Fearfully and wonderfully made. Loved, treasured and adored – always!
