Nothing in your life is ever wasted. You feel like the last few years have been inconsequential and you wonder why you couldn’t have instead simply stepped into the next season without all the journeying but there is joy and growth in the journeying.
You would not be who you are today without the wilderness years. And everything I’m inviting you into next would be impossible without everything that has come before. My timing is perfect. You are poised, prepared and ready, for such a time as this.
And without the preparation you’ve gone through, the experiences and opportunities in what lays ahead would crush you and take you out.
That’s not to say that this next season is more difficult or painful than what’s gone before (although yes, there will be challenges and we’ll face them together) but everything is preparation, building you and making you ready. All of it fits together beautifully and nothing, ever, is wasted.
“Be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.” 1 Corinthians 15:58 NLT
