Today’s Holy Spirit Love Note:
I want to have fun with you! Yes, this is what I want to explore with you right now and it doesn’t bother me one iota if you think it’s not holy enough or the correct posture. I want to have fun with you!
You were created for a life of joy. Life with me is wonderful and you delight me. I love you from the top of your head all the way down to your toes and I am smiling as I consider you in this moment. Precious one, there is no escaping the truth of my love, my delight and yes, my fun!
Lighten up! Allow yourself to pause in this moment and smile. Even if you don’t yet feel like smiling, lift up the corners of your mouth. Play pretend if you need to. No, I’m not asking you to be fake. I’m simply asking you to help your body catch up with your spirit.
Because your spirit in me is a spirit of joy. And love, peace, patience and many other things but joy is where we’re sitting in this moment, mostly because of how you initially reacted to the idea of having fun with me.
I tease you yes, but fondly. Those layers of religion you’ve been shedding sometimes need a little help. You have this picture of me but what if I’m so much more than you grew up hearing of me?
Yes I am holy and just but there are not enough words in any language on this beautiful planet I created for you to express or contain all that I am. Even that word “holy” means so much more than you can possibly comprehend right now.
How about we ditch the labels and boxes and instead have fun together? Flowing moment by moment through this incredible adventure I created for you.
