Trust is a little word that is rich in intent and so very important for our relationship. You feel like I’ve asked you to trust me a lot recently, almost repeatedly, and that’s not because you don’t trust. It’s simply a reminder.
Your ability to trust is built on the foundation of my love for you. You cannot trust without love, it’s impossible! Without love, what passes itself off as trust is merely rule following motivated by fear. That is not trust and that is not my best for you!
This then is really all about love. Do you know how much I love you? And has that knowing moved from your head to your heart to the deepest reaches of your spirit, soul and body? Can you say with confidence that you are my beloved, treasured and adored, regardless of how you feel or the circumstances around you? What’s it going to take for you to really trust my love for you?
