Today’s Holy Spirit Love Note:
What am I saying? What am I not saying? There is so much on my heart concerning you. What you will not hear from me is condemnation and any hint or whisper to the contrary is to be rejected outright as the lie it is!
Will I call you higher? Absolutely! And when I do so, will that sometimes lead to hard conversations or the stripping away of things that are not part of my best for you? Indeed, but there is a difference between stripping away and condemnation and I need you to recognise the difference.
I am always calling you higher, helping you to grow in love but how I do that is always from my position as your Dad. Words and whispers that tear you down and leave you feeling less than are not from my heart. Again, they are to be rejected, even if their source is religious. There are too many in the church who do not know my heart. Stand firm in who you are to me, your identity as my child.
My beloved, my dear one, there are so many expressions of love and affection I can shower you with. To speak otherwise is against my very nature. It is vital that you understand this. There is coming a time when your only real certainty is going to come from who you are to me, who you are in me.
Hold firm then to the love I have for you as seen and expressed through Jesus. Fix your eyes on Jesus, always and especially when uncertainty threatens to derail you. There is nothing that can separate you from my love, nothing ever. You in me and me in you. Of that you can be certain.
