When I tell you I’m moving and working in all things for your good, your mind immediately goes to the more challenging aspects of life because it reassures you to be reminded that I’m here with you in the tough moments but what about the good times? Am I working in the joys of life too? Of course I am!
I am very capable, more able than you give me credit for, and “all things” really does mean every part of life - the whole range of experiences. I am moving in every moment of your life, working every moment to good.
That means I am moving in the delightful aspects of life just as much as I am in the challenges. I don’t need or will hard things to bring you and those you love to me. I move in the hard things yes, but I can just as easily woo with joy and delight.
The very next time you notice you’re having a lovely day or something makes you smile, turn that moment over to me. Ask me to show you how I’m turning the moment, this delightful day, to good. Because yes, there’s the good you can see, the positive experience and emotions and there’s my ultimate good, which you don’t always see but you can be assured I’m working in and towards. I am moving in all things, all moments, without exception!
