Today’s Holy Spirit Love Note:
If I know the end from the beginning and can turn things around in a moment (I do and I can) why do you invest so much time in trying to figure out all the answers? I know you need to plan and take action and do the things I’m inviting you to do. You don’t want to sleepwalk through this one precious life and I respect that.
But what if your planning and action and doing of all the things started with me? What if you spent as much time snuggling in my love as you do scrolling? What if you began today and every day with me?
I never go anywhere else of course, your day begins with me even when you don’t explicitly recognise it as such, but there’s something special that happens when you wake up with a realisation of my nearness.
What might that look like within the context of your day to day life? This isn’t about putting more stuff on your plate or creating expectations that you’re afraid of failing to meet. This is about less being more. Less busy, less tasks, less expectations all create space for more of me.
And I say that not because I’m a jealous narcissist who needs you to entertain me. I simply want to help you live your very best life, my best for you, the life I dreamed of for you when I loved you into existence.
Ask me what that looks like in this season – because it doesn’t always look the same and my best for you in a previous season might not look the same as it does in the current season. Don’t assume and instead, simply ask me to show you. I know the end from the beginning, I can turn things around in a moment, and you don’t need to know all the answers!
