Today’s Holy Spirit Love Note:
I know you and I love you. Before you even open your eyes each morning I’m there, whispering sweet nothings, because I never left. You are known by me, even more than you know yourself.
You might think you know yourself really quite well, this is the age of self-awareness after all, but stick with me and I will show you who you really are, who I created you to be all along. And I should probably warn you now that along the way it’s going to get uncomfortable. You’re going to bump up against stuff and uncover things that you initially wish you could have skirted around.
But you do not need to be afraid dear one, because I will never leave you or forsake you. And this journey, as a result of sticking with me, us poking at the hard stuff together, you’re going to soar! This isn’t about getting by or surviving. I want you to thrive, with me and in me. Together.
And it’s not just about us because yes, I love you, I always have and I always will, but just like We (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) have always been in community, there is so, so much love to give. You thriving in me and with me, showing up each day full to the top with my love, is going to draw more people into this huge, worldwide community. You thriving points others to my love.
They don’t always see it at first but keep being you. Don’t give up or lose heart. Your love in me and with me draws others to me. And it’s not like the love will ever run out or that there won’t be enough to go around, because I am love. It’s innate. So you loving reaches deep in to the very core of others, touches them and moves them in a way that nothing other than love can do. Yes, it’s really very special. As are you.
